What We'll Do
During Our Time Together
PARTICIPATE IN GROUP SESSIONS
Therapeutic grief work.
Led by a skilled counselor specializing in grief, our group sessions will provide you with effective coping strategies and techniques to manage overwhelming emotions. This retreat is a chance to step away from daily stresses and focus on your emotional well-being, surrounded by compassion and understanding.Â
PRACTICE SELF-CARE
Relax. Breathe. Heal.
During our time together, weâll explore a variety of self-care practices designed to nurture and restore our minds and bodies. We'll engage in restorative yoga, a gentle and relaxing form of yoga that accommodates all ages and stages. This practice promotes deep relaxation and healing, allowing the body to release tension and fully rest. In addition, weâll connect with nature through forest bathing, and spend reflective time journaling in the lodge's lush gardens. Finally, we will come together to learn the ancient art of Xi Gong. These practices will guide us toward renewal and inner calm.
ENJOY A MUSICAL PERFORMANCE BY
Grammy Award Winning Artist Mary Youngblood

Youngblood has a lifetime of musicianship behind her, starting with piano lessons at age six and guitar at ten; she is also a renowned classically trained flutist. Mary will perform on both Friday and Saturday night, and will lead us in a therapeutic drumming circle.
